Please stop with me for a few moments and reflect on the country we live in. It is a great nation with much freedom. Today and this weekend we give thanks to those that have served this nation. Thank you to those that are serving right now. Our prayer is for safety and for your return to your family and home.

Psalm 115 reminds us that God is our shield: Psalm 115:2-3 2 Why do the nations say, "Where is their God?" 3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him. Psalm 115:11-12 11 You who fear him, trust in the LORD--he is their help and shield. 12 The LORD remembers us and will bless us

Thank you Lord for this country and the freedom we have and thank you for the safety you provide. Comfort those that are serving and have served. Be our help and our shield.
