Freedom
John 8:36 "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
We love our freedoms in America! Unfortunately, its something that we take for granted way to much. We get up choosing to do, go, wear, eat, read, watch, listen, vote, breathe, drive, race, fish, worship(or not),etc, etc, etc,... whatever we want to. But we need to remember that it cost something in the past to get those freedoms. I thank God for those that risked everything to establish this country on the morals and principles found in the Bible.
Our Verse goes back even farther than the beginning of our country though, it reminds us that we have been set free from sin and its ultimate end in Hell. Jesus; God's Son, has done everything to set us free if only we would choose this freedom. Today you may be at that crossroad, may I encourage you to choose the freedom found in Christ today.
