2001 Mid-Am Monte Carlo Stock Car

I have driven it in 3 MID-AM Feature races, 1-dnf 2007 (broken fuel pump), 1-2nd 2008, 4th 2010 all at Road America, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin Road Course. Always one of the fastest qualifiers every time out, fastest race lap (2.32 @ Road America), Always fastest Mile Per Hour!!! No crashes. Built by Bill Knippenberg/Bill’s Speed Shop Chassis for his son Tommy (house car) and set up by Mike Mulcahy Motorsports, Inc. Have all road course and circle track set-up notes.

· Body: 2001 Five Star Glass Body w/3 race old “Show” Quality Paint/ Earnhardt-style #3 Graphics and new front and rear Lexan Windows
· Engine: Originally a B&B-Built 358, Iron Head Chevy with Center Bolt Valve Covers (freshened ’10 by Ray Bonthron of R&R Engines Benton, IL) with Race Prepped Holley 750 Double Pumper, aluminum center bolt valve covers with breathers and catch tank, March Aluminum serpentine style pulleys, Stewart Aluminum Water Pump, Road Race/Circle Track Deep Sump Pan, Breather system w/puke tank ($15,000 if you built it from scratch). Engine has 14 laps at Road America in ’10 on rebuild. When Ray freshened the engine he installed a new cam, lifters and springs, new rings, bearings and gaskets. Made 450 Rear Wheel Horse Power on Bonthron’s Chassis Dyno.
