99 MonteCarlo
Rear shelf and frame section was reworked (raised 1" per the rules) only to drop weight and correct suspension geometry and stay inside of the class rules, front upper a-arm mounts have been modified but remain stock.
Interior in the car is new and the body came from an ex-Nascar Elite Series car and is in good condition.
9" Floater rear axle, 4 wheel disc brakes with OEM type calipers. 3-speed tranny, 4:56 gear.
The car is approx 98% completed.. Needs the front sway bar mounted, new belts attatched, few filler panels (interior sheet metal in the corners).
Has all new masters.
Engine is a 350 chevy (originally built by B&B, has been refreshed), Ross forged flat tops, new mechanical cam and lifters, new steel roller rockers, Hump heads 2.02/1.60 stainless, callies steel crank...Engine has breakin time only..New Victor Jr. intake, Holley 750 d/p by Jet. New Moroso Race distributor.
Braided fuel lines throughout the car, 22 gallon fuel cell and much more.
Car is currently setup for manual steering but comes with everything to change back to p/s including the relocated tank..comes with mold poured lead enclosed in sheet metal made for the weight shelf in the car, several extra good tires kept inside in dry storage (8" hoosiers) and a few extra wheels. Very rigid/safe cage, better cage then dad raced back when he ran A.R.C.A. and Grand National (now known as Nascar) Email for more info... Also have a 1997 GMC 3500 ext.cab fiberglass utility box truck in top notch shape for sale.. 454 has a new 502 GM factory roller cam, all new roller lifters, hoses, belts, waterpump approx. 4000 miles ago along with 600$ of computer work done to compensate for the larger cam. This gas burner pulls like a diesel.
